Nearly 28 years after the original cult classic hit theaters, the spellbinding new footage confirms that the magic—and the family curse—is far from over.

The Owens Women Return

The newly released teaser leans heavily into the nostalgia that has kept the 1998 film a beloved staple. Set to the familiar tune of Harry Nilsson’s “Coconut,” the footage opens with a sweeping shot of the iconic, picturesque white Victorian home by the water.

Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman seamlessly step back into the shoes of Sally and Gillian Owens. In a voice-over that sets the tone for the sequel, Bullock states: “I’m sure you’ve heard of the Owens family. The ones from Massachusetts. The ones their neighbors whisper are witches.”

The teaser culminates in a joyful, rebellious moment reminiscent of the original film’s midnight margaritas scene: Kidman’s Gillian declares, “I’ve waited such a long time for this,” before leaping from the roof with an open umbrella.
