| I am a songwriter and for the last 20 years I have been using the name of Mountain Rio to release my country / country-rock songs which I record in Nashville using top-class producers, musicians and vocalists in order to achieve the sound I require. |
| At 75 years of age, I have been writing songs for 60 years and releasing independent music in many different genres, including classical, for 45 years. My songs get airplay on hundreds of small community, internet and independent radio stations and I have had some of my Christmas music played on Nashville’s Music Row in the past. |
| Twenty Seven Miles From Roswell is the Christmas single taken from my brand new album called Christmas Hoedown. All of the tracks are my original compositions. The story behind the song: Carrying a guitar, a wandering soul’s very brief, unexpected encounter with a luminous, redemptive presence that transforms guilt into forgiveness and sparks a quiet spiritual awakening. |
