FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S 2 – IN THEATERS DECEMBER 5

They’re no longer confined to Freddy’s. In 2023, Blumhouse’s box-office smash Five Nights at Freddy’s, adapted from Scott Cawthon’s hit video game series, became the year’s top-grossing horror film. Now, a chilling new chapter of animatronic terror is set to unfold.
A year has passed since the supernatural horrors at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. The events of that night have morphed into a campy local legend—one celebrated at the town’s first-ever Fazfest. Former security guard Mike (Josh Hutcherson) and police officer Vanessa (Elizabeth Lail) have kept the truth hidden from Mike’s 11-year-old sister, Abby (Piper Rubio), especially the fate of her animatronic companions.

But when Abby sneaks out in an attempt to reunite with Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, she triggers a new wave of terror—one that unearths the dark origin of Freddy’s and awakens a long-buried horror that has been sealed away for decades.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 features returning cast members Theodus Crane as Jeremiah and Matthew Lillard as the infamous William Afton. New additions include Freddy Carter (Shadow and Bone, Pennyworth), Wayne Knight (Jurassic Park, Seinfeld), Mckenna Grace (Ghostbusters franchise, Annabelle Comes Home), and horror icon Skeet Ulrich (Scream, Riverdale).
Directed once again by Emma Tammi and written by series creator Scott Cawthon, the film is produced by Jason Blum and Cawthon, both of whom produced the original. Executive producers include Emma Tammi, Beatriz Sequeira, Christopher Warner, Russell Binder, and Marc Mostman.
The first Freddy’s film debuted with a record-breaking $80 million opening in October 2023 and ultimately grossed nearly $300 million worldwide.
