NEW YORK – February 19, 2019 – Combate Americas has announced the signing of undefeated boxer and former ‘Underground Fight’ champion Dulce María García Rivas (0-0 MMA, 5-0 Boxing), better known as ” Sexy Star ” , for an exclusive multi-fight contract.

García will make his expected debut under the rules of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), in the promotion of Combate Americas, in the event ‘Combate Estrellas’ to be announced soon; in his hometown of Monterrey, NL, Mexico, on Friday, April 12.

Garcia managed three consecutive victories under the rules of boxing in 2018 – his most recent, a six round decision against Karla Islas on August 18 – to get a total record of 5-0 in the sport.

Prior to making her boxing debut in April 2017, Garcia appeared in 57 episodes of Lucha Underground through El Rey Network, and was crowned as the first female champion of the show, on April 9, 2016.

Garcia is also a four-time champion of the AAA (Assistance and Administration Assistance) organization, and the wife of three-time former world boxing champion Jhonny Gonzalez .
