La Boda de Valentina
(Pantelion Films, February 9, 2018)

Genre: Romantic Comedy

Cast: Marimar Vega, Ryan Cares, Omar Chaparro, Kate Vernon, Jesus Zavala, Tony Dalton

Directed By: Marco Polo Constandse

In this screwball romantic comedy, Mexican-born Valentina (Marimar Vega), with a “perfect life” in the United States, agrees to marry her boyfriend Jason (Ryan Carnes). But when he suggests the wedding take place in Mexico, the decision unleashes a cultural clash between the groom’s family – “the perfect Tates” – and the “the Hidalgos” – the bride’s family and the most chaotic and surrealist political dynasty in the history of Mexico. It gets even messier when Valentina’s ex – the charismatic Angel (Omar Chaparro) – resurfaces and tries to reinsert himself in her life, competing with Jason for her love and attention. Who will win over the bride? Premieres February 9, 2018.
