Zac Efron has been in the middle of some thick plots in his cinematic career, and there is no exception in the upcoming Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising set to release on May 20.

Here is your movie guide to get you started:

HSMHigh School Musical 1/06

Zac Efron was introduced to the world in 2006 when he played Troy, a popular high school basketball player who falls in love with a new student at school after bonding over their shared passion for singing.

The film was a blockbuster hit.

The soundtrack also went on to be #1 on the billboard charts for 2 weeks. It was the first album for a made for TV movie to rule the charts.

 

 

Hairspray

Hairspray 7/07

Based on one of Broadway’s most successful musicals, Hairspray is set in the early 60s featuring the musical talents of Zac Efron, John Travolta and Queen Latifah amongst others.

The film made $118,871,849 in the U.S. alone.

Hairspray broke the record for biggest sales at opening weekend for a movie musical. It is a unique and soulful addition to any Zac-athon.

 

 

 

17 again

17 Again 4/09

A lighthearted movie that tells the story of a man who gets the chance of TWO lifetimes, when he becomes a 17 year old boy, again.

Zac Efron really shows off his acting chops as he takes on the role of a 37 year old man reliving his youth in the body of a teenager.

17 Again made $23,722,310 during its opening weekend in the U.S, proving that anything starring Zac Efron will be sure to entertain.

 

 

Lucky OneThe Lucky One 4/12

So if you haven’t had enough yet, prepare yourself for a rollercoaster of emotions as you watch this dramatic romance.

Zac Efron plays a U.S. Marine who credits his survival in Iraq to a photograph of a smiling woman, who he considers as his good luck charm. In search of his good luck charm Zac eventually sets out to find the woman in the photo that he has fallen in love with.

The Lucky One won a Kid’s Choice Award for drama of the year.

 

 

That Awkward MomentThat Awkward Moment 1/14

Ever find yourself in a “relationship” with someone except that you are not quite sure if you are in a relationship or not, or you simply just don’t know what to really call it?

As we near May 20th and in final preparation for opening day of Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, why not rematch it’s prequel.

Neighbors’, starring Zac Efron and Seth Rogen tells the story of a couple who find out they are neighbors to a house-full of a rowdy fraternity.

Zac Efron plays the president of the fraternity who leads the pack as they fight for control of the neighborhood.

The film grossed about $140.2 million in the United States. Neighbors marked Seth Rogen’s highest grossing, non-animated film to date.

We Are Your Friends chronicle the whirlwind rise of aspiring DJ, Cole Carter.

Awaiting his big break in the world of electronic dance music, Carter spends his days gallivanting with his childhood friends, until one day his career is given a jumpstart by superstar DJ James.

We Are Your Friends also has cameos by mega DJs such as Dillon Francis, Alesso and Nicky Romero.

 

 

 

 

Neighbors2Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, opens nationwide on May 20, 2016

On May 20th, Zac Efron comes back to the neighborhood to help out his old rivals Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne as they take on the NU neighbors.

Kappa Nu has moved in next door, a sorority led by new comer, Chloe Grace Moretz.

If you thought living next door to a fraternity was about as bad as it could get, you are in for a surprise. Kappa Nu won’t go down without a fight.
