In this episode of Switched at Birth, Daphne is having trouble keeping up in Chemistry class, while Bay is growing tired of Tess. Daphne is late for her first day of Chemistry when she takes a sleeping pill the night before. Her teacher isn’t pleased with her outfit as she attended class in sweatpants. Yeah the teacher is a bit of a witch which is why Josh refused to be her interpreter at first. To make matters worse one of the students tells Daphne that her signing is distracting. They end up being in a study group together, but when Daphne can’t keep up they kick her out. This makes Josh angry so he begins to argue with them. This makes Daphne very mad and she tells him his job is to interpret not to be her voice. She then fires him. When Regina drops Bay off at community service she ends up running into a motorcycle. The owner just opened a coffee shop in East Riverside. He seems pretty nice and decides to give her a break, but when Juanita walks in and verbally attacks Regina, he asks Regina to leave. Regina can’t seem to catch a break from her project tanking, Angelo dying, and Daphne being disrespectful things aren’t going well for her. At community service Bay tells Tess about giving Robbie the sandwich. The girl who dropped was actually his ex named Annie. Since community service started Tess has been giving Bay a hard time, so Bay asks Tank for advice. Yes Tank is back and tells Bay to stand up to Tess. When Bay is waiting on a call from Emmett and refuses to let Tess use her phone, Tess breaks it and Bay finally stands up to her. I see these 2 becoming BFFs in the future. A guy approaches Katherine about turning her book into a movie, but what he really wants is John’s money. Since Daphne is having a hard time reading Chemistry words, she asks her roommate for help. Now knowing that firing Josh was a mistake she hires him back after he apologizes. Her group also invites her back in after Josh brings her advanced notes that they need to pass the test. At first she refuses, but Josh convinces her to go back, but they must go slower so she can pick up. In a preview for the next episode, a new girl is pushing up on Emmett. Hopefully the writers aren’t stupid enough to make him cheat again.
