SNIPER: RELOADED Star CHAD MICHAEL COLLINS Set to Reprise Role for Sony’s SNIPER 5; Books Guest Star on CBS’ “Blue Bloods” Actor Will Star Alongside Original Franchise Lead Tom Berenger this Winter, Opposite Donnie Wahlberg in CBS Hit Cop Drama SNIPER: RELOADED star CHAD MICHAEL COLLINS will be enjoying a family reunion of sorts this winter. Collins is set to reprise his ‘Sgt Brandon Beckett’ role for Sony’s forthcoming SNIPER sequel, and will co-star alongside original SNIPER franchise star, the Emmy-winning and Oscar-nominated Tom Berenger, who plays his estranged legendary Marine father ‘Thomas Beckett.’ Collins is currently shooting a guest starring role on “Blue Bloods” for CBS, the Friday night cop drama that centers around the Regan family, four generations of cops and soldiers headed by patriarch Tom Selleck.  Collins will star as a young Army vet who has a hard time adjusting to civilian life upon his return from combat and crosses paths with Donnie Wahlberg’s veteran-turned-police detective.  The episode “Unfinished Business” will air in late January. Released in 2011, the franchise reboot SNIPER: RELOADED starred Collins as a young Marine who learns the way of the sniper from his father’s former partner, co-star Billy Zane, who reprised his marksman role from the original SNIPER.  Berenger starred as the titular character in the first three SNIPER films (1993, 2002, 2004).  SNIPER 5 will see father and son cross paths in an intense, action-packed story that re-teams Collins with director Don Michael Paul, whom he recently worked with on the WWII action film COMPANY OF HEROES (2013). Shooting on the Sony/UFO Films production is set to begin this winter in Bulgaria and Greece. Best known for his franchise lead roles in SNIPER: RELOADED and COMPANY OF HEROES, Collins has also gained fan-favorite recognition for his guest work in ABC’s hit fantasy drama “Once Upon a Time,” starring as ‘Gerhardt Frankenstein/Frankenstein’s Monster.’ In HEROES – based on the popular video game franchise of the same name – Collins starred as a wet-behind-the-ears Army private who leads a ragtag team of soldiers on an impossible mission into the heart of Nazi Germany during the twilight of WWII.  His co-stars included Tom Sizemore, Vinnie Jones, Neal McDonough, and Jurgen Prochnow.
