Ian Somerhalder – “The Vampire Diaries” – Interview

listen_now2Ian plays Damon Salvatore. Damon is the older brother of Stefan, who likes to take matters into his own hands without thinking of the consequences to others. Ian discusses his new foundation, Ian Somerhalder Foundation. He also discusses who the environment is similar to our bodies. He expresses his gratitude for all those that have helped with the foundation, saying that it is a collective effort for getting projects started and completed. Ian also answers the questions that were posted by fans on The VRO website and twitter regarding IS Foundation and his role on The Vampire Diaries. Ian was born and raised in Covington, Louisiana. He modeled from ages 10-13. At the age of 17, he decided to go into acting. On his 32nd birthday he set up his foundation called the Ian Somerhalder Foundation, which he hopes to educate people about the importance of protecting the environment and animals.
