Comic Con means early mornings for us – we don’t want to miss getting in to some of the autograph sessions with some of our fave stars of the shows we broadcast about on the show. So we were up and out at the crack of dawn this fine Saturday morning. Our first panel wasn’t till later so we perused the Exhibit Hall again and got some more cool swag. We picked up more Hawaii 5-0 lanyards (I think this is going to be a big show by the way CBS is pushing it) and some cool Star Trek watches. I also picked up a copy of my fave author Sherrilyn Kenyon’s newest book and will be reading it on the plane home.

Our first panel of the day was The Event – and I must say we were VERY intrigued by the story. Aliens who can do bendy things with time or perception, story is a little like Lost in that you only get snippets at a time, but I’m excited to see how it will unfold. Vids here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3b9Qd2h35E&playnext=1&list=PL660885ADFC60FAB5

Unfortunately we again didn’t make the big Hall H panels for Green Lantern, Sucker Punch, and HP, simply because we weren’t able to camp in the line. These panels are BIG and Hall H is the campout place for Comic Con. I will post vids when they come available. Vids here for Green Lantern http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKS8bx1fLzk this is part 1 of 5 just follow the trail. Sucker Punch – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwQwa89JdOU&feature=relmfu this is part 1 of 3 just follow the trail. HP – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FT0A-nDvRHA

We grabbed a quick lunch and popped over to Sanctuary, which I started watching as webisodes and was ecstatic when Syfy put it up as a tv series. It was awesome to see Amanda Tapping, and Chris Heyerdahl (even though he wasn’t there in person) is too cool. We have an interview scheduled with him in a few weeks – check back to hear it on our broadcast. Vids here – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4QrZE-6QH8w and there are 6 parts to this just follow the trail.

We didn’t make Let Me In, preferring to pop over to V. We were stoked to hear about what’s next in the V-verse. I for one wanted to see some goodies, but we did get a cool highlight reel from last season. And being the Whedon/Firefly fan I am, seeing Morena Baccarin was totally cool. Vid here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41YRs8PtN7g and there are 4 parts just follow the trail.

Didn’t have to move a muscle for the next panel – Fringe was in the same ballroom as V. Good for me too, because when Joshua Jackson walked out I was a puddle in my seat! Anna Torv wowed me as always with her beauty and that lovely accent, as does John Noble. I was stoked to hear about the Alt-ivia and the alternate universe, as I have been dying ever since the finale. Can anyone say nail-biter! The panel was one of the best I’ve been to in a long time. Vid here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBD8Ko0pq8s and its 5 parts just follow the trail.

After Fringe I couldn’t have moved if I had wanted to, so its good that I didn’t. Vampire Diaries was up next, and while we didn’t hear anything more than we had heard during our amazing interview with Julie Plec back in May, it was certainly very cool to see the cast again, and get a chance to chat with them a little. Can we say it will be a wolfy season this coming year? I think we can!! Vids here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQh6ccH_rJs and its 5 parts so you know what to do.

Alas we still weren’t able to make it into Hall H for Thor and Captain America, so we hopped on our shuttle to head back to our hotel for dinner and relaxation by the pool. Tomorrow is our final day, and we still have some good panels to hit. See you then!
